Our staff is made up of experienced coaches and dedicated support personnel who are passionate about developing players both on and off the court. From skill training to strategy guidance, every member of our team is committed to fostering growth, teamwork, and a love for the game. With their expertise and mentorship, our staff ensures that every athlete has the tools and support needed to succeed.


Meet the Directors

Coach Caroline played as a setter all four years of high school and also played for NC State and East Carolina University’s club teams. She has coached East Carolina Junior Volleyball Club in North Carolina as well as locally in recreational leagues.

Coach Caroline is, “passionate about building a strong foundation for young athletes, focusing on both the physical and mental aspects of volleyball.” Her goal is to teach the essential fundamentals of the game while instilling a lasting love for the sport. Caroline says, “Club volleyball offers a unique opportunity to help girls develop into healthy, strong, and athletic competitors, and I am excited to guide our 12s team in taking their skills to the next level.

Stacy Houghton

12U Coach

Coach Stacy brings a lifelong love for volleyball and a passion for developing young athletes at WPVA. She began playing in sixth grade, competed in club at the former Orlando Volleyball Academy, and continued playing intramurals and beach volleyball at the University of Florida. She has four children herself, and is a pediatric nurse practitioner who enjoys working with adolescents.

Inspired by her brother, Stacy grew to value the teamwork, trust, and personal growth the sport offers. Stacy has spent the last six years coaching and currently serves as the Head JV Coach at Lakeland Christian School alongside her leadership role at WPVA. She is dedicated to helping young women grow in confidence, character, and skill, on and off the court.

Cesar Coss

14U Coach

Coach Coss was first introduced to volleyball in middle school in Puerto Rico. He played as a setter in high school, as well as for various club teams in Puerto Rico. After college, Coss continued to play, while also coaching volleyball at all levels, from recreational to college level. Coach Coss has four years of head coaching experience, including coaching for Excel Christian Academy in Lakeland. Coach Coss’s coaching philosophy centers on developing strong fundamentals, character, and teamwork while emphasizing discipline, accountability, and growth through consistent effort. He strives to create a positive, family-like environment built on trust, respect, and open communication, where athletes feel supported to take risks, learn from mistakes, and push themselves beyond their own expectations.

Ally Postlethwaite Juarbe

14U Coach

Coach Ally is entering her second season of competitive coaching. She began her coaching career in competitive beach volleyball before transitioning to indoor. Coach Ally played four indoor seasons and three beach seasons at Southeastern University, where she served as a setter throughout her collegiate career. She ran both a 5–1 and 6–2 offense and was a team captain all four years. She graduated in December 2024 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and now works as an ICU nurse. Coach Ally looks forward to bringing her experience, leadership, and passion for the game to her athletes. Her goal is to encourage each player to believe in their potential and to show them that with effort and discipline, they can accomplish anything they set their minds to. She is committed to supporting them every step of the way.

McKenzie Ash

15U Coach

Coach Mac’s volleyball journey began in recreational leagues before she moved into travel competition in multiiple club seasons. She continued to develop her game at Lakeland Christian School, where she played for 5 years as both an outside hitter and defensive specialist. After graduating, she returned to Lakeland Christian School as the assistant coach for the JV volleyball team. Today, she serves as the 15U Girls Head Coach and one of the Directors of West Polk Volleyball Academy. Coach Mac says, “I am passionate about helping young athletes grow on and off the court. My goal is to strengthen their skills, build their confidence, and support them as they grow in character and faith.”

McKenzie Ash

Coach Nat played as a Libero/Defensive Specialist for Lakeland Christian School’s Varsity Volleyball team, She also played for multiple years at the club level. She went on to play a year of collegiate volleyball at Warner University and is currently pursuing a degree in Elementary Education. Coach Nat says she is ,“passionate in building strong, young athletes both physically and mentally, focussing on bettering girls both in volleyball and as people.” She strives to create a safe environment where athletes feel supported, challenged, and motivated to push beyond their comfort zones, learning from both success and adversity. “As a coach, my role is not only to teach skills but to mentor young athletes into confident individuals, who know they are not playing for themselves, but for the One who gave them the opportunity, our Lord, Jesus Christ,”says Natalie.
